Are we checking? This is a place to take a p*ss out of motorsports.
F1 is not the only motorsport in the world, so go ahead and post your shitposts about WEC or MotoGP or IndyCar or ralley or Polish Speedway or whatever. Even Formula E, I guess. It needs some love, too.
By the way, F2 > F1.
Rules? What rules? Stop inventing. Just don't be a douche. Lemmy.world's sporting conduct applies.

If anything, the fault was with the team who could have ordered that the priority is to attack Antonelli but the fueled the flame instead.
McLaren has always let their drivers race… for the most part. With so many races to go, I didn’t expect to hear any team orders for them today.
Meh. There's a championship at issue, and they have a couple of racehorses. They're going to want to run, and if you don't let them there will be hard feelings. If the team prevented the battle, then Lando would have been whining to have them order Piastri to let him past, because he's faster, as shown by how he caught Piastri. Honestly, I think the team did the right thing, and Lando was just so desperate that he pushed it too far.
It will have been at 12 points of piastri… but I agree with you it’s probably better longer term for ego management
The team stated fairly recently that it was "going to happen" at some point. I'm inclined to agree that they sort of let it happen this week, since the win wasn't anywhere close.
My prediction was for Russell and Verstappen to take each other out T1 then Piastri to cruise to P1 and Norris to drop it in the wall out of desperation, so I feel half right.
Odds on Piastri to win the championship must now be climbing further with this dnf
McLaren has the fastest car, and between Piastri and Norris, Piastri is the more consistent driver. He's really got it dialed in this season, and I think he'll win the WDC.
