Hey, I'll take anything over being stuck on the cliffhanger of Eli's death for 20 years, and wrap up the whole Combine story as best as possible.
As TachyonTele suggested, you may want to play or read into Half Life Alyx. Time travel got involved.
What if I don't have VR?
I’ve heard there are mods to play it on a flat screen. Obvs you’d lose a lot of the experience, but that would be a way to get the story.
