Lmaooooooo jump off a bridge..to be honest I've never listened to the Skynyrd version, I just rediscovered Weedeater after not listening to them in years and I love them and really like this song. I might have the same opinion as you, though, had I heard the original. I'll give it a listen. Dixie (the singer) was a hot mess, not sure how he is now. Used to have a bottle of Whiskey on stage and a bottle of cough syrup taped to his speaker. If you're interested here's an interview with him that's equal parts scummy and endearing
