MUCH LIKE RABBITS AND OTHER SMALL RODENTS, THE ""WHITES"" ARE ALWAYS SCUTTLING ABOUT. HOWEVER, THEY ARE SHORT-SIGHTED. MYOPIC. A SMALL SHRED OF CHEESE IS ENOUGH TO ENTRAP A MOUSE, OR A ""WHITE.""

I've found good results using horseradish cheddar. Any kind of novelty cheese you have on hand should work if you don't have that one specifically. Even spray on cheese product seems to work in a pinch.
