I'm in a dilemma, I think ownership of media is important, but the convenience of Spotify and the algorithm of new music that it suggests has helped me find amazing artists that I wouldn't have heard of otherwise.

Fellow sailors, what are your thoughts, and how do you personally listen to music?

Its a personal choice, but I prefer owning my music rather than 'renting' one. You have the option to have whatever songs you like, Spotify lacks a lot of the remixes I personally enjoy.

The suggestions were pretty bad at least for me, YouTube had a much better algorithm for finding music back when I was still using it.
