Our dehumidifier burnt out this morning; luckily it went while we were up and moving about (we run it overnight usually). Anyone have any recommendations on a replacement? The only thing I can think of in terms of specs is something that has a night/quiet mode - I'm not sure what else to look for.
If my memory is right, I think @[email protected] bought one recently. They might be able to comment on which one they got and if they liked it.
Haha yeah awesome memory @[email protected]
@[email protected] after a lot of research we bought this one from Living & Co: https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/p/living-co-dehumidifier-10l/N212010.html With CSCBG discount it's $211.70 . To get that discount, see here: https://www.cheapies.nz/node/24307?page=1#comment-141362 I've just done click & collect to get the CSCBG discount.
First couple of days we had it running 24/7 to get the humidity down, now we use it only when it's damp (e.g. when drying clothes). It's fine for a room up to ~15 m2; definitely not strong enough for a whole house.
We have it running overnight sometimes, it's quiet on the low setting, but you can still hear it humming. Fine with us, depends on how light you sleep.
Hope this helps!
Brilliant, thanks so much for the info!
