Since this whole instance is shutting down, I decided to dump here all my older screenshots with desktops from some time ago.

Bellow there's my now defunct netbook with a theme called Gollum, created by Nitrium-Oxide on DeviantArt. It comes in both a basic (no transparency, no effects) and an aero version. Since I had Windows 7 Starter, I have here pictured the basic version.

Too bad my netbook is dead. Don't know if I can find a replacement motherboard for it...

Not the most spectacular screenshot, but we have to start somewhere ;-).

This screenshot shows a captcha I got when trying to google something from the university network (around 2009).

Other apps shown in the taskbar:

  • Pidgin buddy list + conversation
  • XMMS (music player, similar to Winamp)
  • Azureus (a BitTorrent-Client)
  • Gnome terminal
