I am a recent Reddit user that got banned. I have been desperately looking for subs on Reddit I followed, that moved over here

Hey TwoXPreppers! This is one of my favorite subs on Reddit. Glad to find an offshoot on Lemmy. I was wondering what recommendations you guys had for prepping for a recession? I'm net debt free and continuing to funnel cash into different funds (car, medical, clothes, etc.) but I'm wondering what else there might be? Currently, don't have a ton of space for a garden but am looking to start a small one. With bird flu, measles, economic uncertainty, and the current US administration rolling back consumer protections, I'm looking to see what others are thinking and what they're doing to try to weather the uncertainty ahead?

Hey, I’m a woman. I’m happily married to a man. I know more about this prepping shit than he does. He could kick someone’s ass. But he didn’t buy or give input on any of our prepping supplies.

Would your husband think to buy the abortion pill online (not necessarily for myself but for anyone - our kids as adults etc).

Would he think to buy a bunch of Plan B pills for little whoopsies?

What about your favorite brand of tampons in bulk?

Does he do any of the cooking or know what the kids actually like to eat? (My kids are his step kids so he’s not as tuned in to that as a regular dad). We have to stock up on ketchup for that one kid lol.

I had to do research to find a firearm I was comfortable with as well. I wanted it to be easy for me to pull the slide back. I have small, weak, delicate little hands lol. But I found one.

Don’t rely on your man to think of everything for you is all I’m saying.
