Is it just me or is most of the open world gameplay just fetch quests?

I get that the hunger mechanic is essential to the survival genre, but really? every day? Most starting clans evolved past the hunting/foraging skill trees years ago and replaced them with ANOTHER boring in-game market. And if you do want to relive the early builds, you have to go to the empty rural maps and get accepted into the hunters' guild. Sure, the cooking minigame is fun, but I end up just minmaxxing eggs because of the time commitment.

Consumables as a whole just seem like a redundant game mechanic with no real gameplay, especially when potions and actual buffing items are restricted on most servers.

And don't get me started on items. Sure, Breath of the Wild was fun, but I don't like this trend of equipment durability. They're even debuffing permanent items to consumables for no reason now. The plastic update was a mistake to be real with you.

I would love to be able to see my stats post-game. Stuff like how long did we spend on each activity, how many players we met, impacts on other players' progressions, or players that have crushes on me but I didn't know.

It would also be cool to have a replay system after we finish.

What are your thoughts on this?

Any chance of this game becoming like SAO or the movie Ready Player One? What do you think would be the chances, or the reactions of the game community if it turns out that way? This is an opinion question, feel free to state yours.

How can you say "free to play"? The currency system is way too unforgiving. A good big house costs like 400k! You have to pay for food and water! No money means you can't play!

I wish there was a way to get some of my dailies on auto-run. I don't want to have to battle the Level 5 Dishes every day. Plus, if I miss one day I end up with not enough stamina to complete the task, and it regenerates until I have to spend hours fighting Boss-Level Dish Beast. It also adds a +3 difficulty rating to [cooking] and [eating], since the necessary components are added to the monster's mass.

My character also has both [illness] and [debt] attributes, and remembering to administer health potions and tokens to keep them within healthy levels would be much easier on an automatic schedule.

Anything you think would be improved with automation?

Hello yall, E. Coli main here. I just gotta say, though some players think the bacteria play style is really boring, living inside the intestines biome is really great! Lots of free nutrients tend to show up in there, and it's great for racking up experience.

There's also rumours that escaping the intestines biome leads to some new environments to discover, with way more nutrients and space to grow! I personally haven't seen these yet, though there are also rumours of jackass "immune cell" players, as well as the chance of an instakill stage hazard to appear after some time, so maybe it's not worth it to leave the intestines biome. High risk, high reward I guess!

My player settings are on homosexuality, I can’t change them but it seems to make the quest kinda difficult. Tips?

I’m currently doing a playthrough in which I rolled the “ADHD” negative trait, and I’ve noticed that it may also be a small debuff to the speech stat.

My level 20 character tends to miss a lot of speech skillchecks, especially the ones involving the “end conversation” action so it leads to the dreaded “run-on sentence” debuff that afflicts other players with boredom and annoyance at strength 1.

In addition my character also has the “intrusive thoughts” negative trait as well (which the ADHD trait makes even WORSE), so sometimes my character just completely locks up and begins the “rationalize thoughts” sidequest without my input.

I just really wish they included this stuff in the patchnotes…

Europe servers. When using my vehicle to fast travel, I always get “billboard” pop up ads, especially when I use the “motorway” route. Is there any adblockers that work for this game?

My character is lvl 21, pretty decent stats. However the Rent RNG has gone through the roof and my player doesn’t have enough gold to afford it by herself (still in the [College] Advanced quest)

Player left the [College Dorm] map to avoid a random [Roomate] spawn/boss battle encounter. (I know the likelihood of player and roommate getting along is RNG but I haven’t had any luck so far with random spawns)

Player then decided to hunt with friends with high friendship stats. Because of one of the roommates though (this player had a very low [Determination] stat) My player and her newfound guild failed the [Move out by 31st] questline.

Now my player and the guild are looking into a place that should open in two in game days but it potentially won’t. Player is very distressed at the [Moms House] location (so is her feline companion) and could use some motivation from more experienced players.

US server. Was walking on a sidewalk and a lower level, maybe 12? Idk, still in the educational guilds, told me to hurry up because I’m walking like an NPC.

Currently questioning everything. Maybe the AI in this game is so advanced that we have tricked ourselves into thinking we are the main character when in reality we are just the NPC’s?

Hey all, been playing for a great years more and have realized how lame the end game has become a nonstop loop of running dailys for gold, spending the gold on needed consumables, then repeating.

I’m looking for a group to do a couple raids at player safe houses or [BANK]s. Ideally, I’d need a tank, scout, and someone with fast mounts. I can do some of the dps and have some cosmetic helmet skins to conceal our faces in case some griefers arrive. Lmk if you’re interested

I am going to participate in one of the for the (Writer's Guild) storyline. I am not in it but I hope to be after I level up enough and complete the (College) quest. I need to create some signs for myself (Level 16), one of my Guild leaders, and two lower level players in my guild (Levels 14 and Level 7). Any ideas.

So for background during the event, the task and staring at my [phone] item has wrecked my graphics to the point I need the [glasses] item to turn it back up, but I am concerned about adapting to it as I heard it might cause the effects {nausea} and {headaches} at first.

Also, I think getting used to having the frame of the [glasses] in my field of view might be really odd and difficult to get used to.

Any tips from veteran [glasses] users?

Hey guys, I am relatively new here so I haven’t been playing for long. But I was wondering something, is it really mandatory for me to create plastic water bottles every time I want to drink? They are starting to pile up and it’s a problem. I can barely walk inside of my base. I was wondering if there is a reusable option?

P.s will the current plastic bottles biodegrade eventually?

I got the XP on my main ability to almost top-tier, even completing the quest "First job", but for some me reason i rapidly got the [burnout] and [anxiety-(clinical tier)] debuffs. I'd say I'm slowly but surely building back the "mental-health" points with some help from high level players, but i considered that, since i don't want to miss the next season with all that means, I'll be multiclasing on some other role.

University Alliance applications already got out of cooldown and i sent mine to try level up the "Physics" tech tree from 0.

I know it shouldn't, but feels kinda weird getting back into this part of the map after just one year of PVP. Any advice for Multiclass builds from someone who did it? Or just from a higher lvl player? I'm only lvl23.

The pizza summoning magic box.

I may be from an ancient era of magick and splendor, but I have yet to understand the riddle of the magic box.

You make certain specific gestures to pass different sealed spirit gates, to authorize a sacrifice, to make the the magic box of the pizza-man know you want a pizza, and he sends out a bunch of orders to get it done

But! the sacrifice can't be small, for the right price of $9.95 you can have a deluxe supreme! The sacrifice must equal the expected amount, otherwise the pizza box man will scoff, and send you away.

To earn what is considered a valid sacrifice you must OBEY the magic box and the other people who worship the magic box, and force yourself to do random tasks for them, by contract. So you serve your slave contract to the patron deity, say to "Star BUCKS", and the "Star Buck" will give you authority to make sacrifices to the magic box for pizza or coffee.

Some temples allow you to make smaller sacrifice, if you pilgrimage to them. The magnificent WALL-Mar' is famous for this. You make your pilgrimage after sacrificing the oil of our ancestors on divine sleds. After sacrificing these ancestral ointments, called Ga'soul'ine, you must be careful to observe the ritual objects correctly or else your mortal body will be in great peril!

You must OBEY all laws related to the divine sled to arrive safely on your pilgrimage.

Then at the divine WALL-Mar', you may then see the glory of Babylon, the riches therein of the mutual sacrifices to the divine magic box. But! You must obey the ritual to plunder the great temple of WALL'Mar! You must provide the appropriate enchanted objects, specifically forged in fire and secret, called coins, or provide the mystical paper of the ancient way, called dollars.

However, the magic box is king. If you obey the magic box... The magic box offers you anything your heart desires! But ONLY if you OBEY the magic box.

No questions. Some questions. But soon! No questions!

I... Do not trust the magic box.

Do you guys think it's kind of bullshit that you can't manually make your character instantly enter sleep mode? Almost every action you can perform in the game can be controlled manually, even vitally important ones like the [breathing] action. But if you want your character to enter sleep mode, your character has to lie motionless and wait for sleep mode to initiate automatically. And this can take anywhere from minutes to hours?? I think this feature is kinda broken and it would be great if the devs released a patch to fix it.

Whats the Magic system like? I've seen players do magic, though other than farming gold from players, the tricks didn't seem very practical.

Is there a quest I need to complete to unlock this? I want to make a powerfull build around this. I'm looking for exploits and hopefully start dominating whole servers with it.

A lot of people are talking about the new player class called the "Alien." The leak rumors was there since the game's creation, with some people even thinking that it was available in the Beta "Ancient" version of the game, but these leaks have gained relevance yet again after there was a report made to the admins of the [USA] servers. Do you guys believe the leaks?

As a lvl43 endgame veteran I've been dedicating some of my playtime guiding low lvl noobs through the tutorial stages.

Last sessions I did some friendly pvp matches that included speed and I noticed my maximum speed has been nerfed. Testing the limits of my controls I often encounter bugs where I lose small amounts of hp and get some serious debuffs. I have to cut my playtime short or I'll die on the soccerfield during friendly pvp. That would be embarassing.

Is this a software or a hardware issue, or have I been nerfed permanently? If the latter, why?!

I still won the pvp.
