Unter Linux kann man eine simple Kommandozeilensteuerung mit dem Programm mpg123 und den folgenden zwei Skriptdateien in /usr/bin/ oder /usr/local/bin/:

/usr/local/bin/soma:

#! /usr/bin/bash
kill $(pgrep mpg123)
mpg123 -@ http://somafm.com/nossl/$1.pls

/usr/local/bin/somaoff:

#! /usr/bin/bash
kill $(pgrep mpg123)

Um die für jeden User ausführbar zu machen, führt man den Befehl sudo chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/soma /usr/local/bin/somaoff aus.

Jetzt kann man aus jedem Terminal (oder aus KRunner unter KDE, oder mittels :sh aus helix heraus) soma ein und ausschalten:

# Tune into station "Lush"
soma lush 
# Turn Soma off
somaoff

Funktioniert auch aus einem tty heraus, sogar mit Bluetooth, zumindest unter meinem OpenSUSE.
