I’m seeing these in my neighborhood that have already lost all their leaves. I can’t remember what kind of tree they are and is this normal time of year for them to lose their leaves or early?

Some cherry tomatoes in the garden growing nicely. My 4yo likes to eat them right off the plant so we go through them quickly 😂

The plant ID apps think it is wild ginger, but it does not look like a good match to me. There is a ton of wild ginger trying to take over my yard, and this is definitely not the same plant.

This plant swap and sale is happening today at the Marietta Square. Details unfortunately on the Facebook. On the other hand, the Square is an all around cool place to visit and hang out if you’ve never been there before.

Anyone ever harvest their coneflowers for echinacea tea or tincture? I took these at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens but we have a few in our front yard but my wife won’t let me cut any of them 🥲

Stumbled across this ginormous Mountain Shrub Mint at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. I’m gonna try to get the wife to plant some in the garden. Don’t think it’s edible tho.

The first time I saw cardoon was at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Big, beautiful, and edible? I wanted to grow my own.
But thus far, no success. I got a single seedling up to maybe 6 inches around last year, but it was too late in the season. All the seedlings I started the spring failed to thrive and finally gave out. What's the secret to getting them going?
