From the article:

However, the NCAA said Thursday that it “received new information” that was not “made available by UNC previously” regarding Walker’s situation this week that supported his case for eligibility.

“NCAA staff received new information regarding University of North Carolina student-athlete Tez Walker this week. Staff determined the new information qualifies Walker for a transfer waiver,” the NCAA said in a statement. “The information had not been made available by UNC previously, despite the school's multiple chances to do so.”

Doesn't say what the "new information" is so I'm going to imagine Mack Brown showed up to the NCAA HQ with a baseball bat looking for knee caps

Gallaudet and dead/HoH players once again breed innovation for football. For those that don’t know, they developed the first huddle since opposing teams were learning ASL to see what plays they were calling.

Starting today, there will be college or pro ball on TV every day for 49 consecutive days (presumably it only stops because we all need a rest day before the Egg Bowl).

Let's get some MACtion!

Additionally, it seems we are not going back to a signing cap. So the Dieon method is officially legal long term. The jury is still out on viable, especially with a shrinking window.

Suggestions for RSS feeds/content?

Simple question - I'm finally getting an RSS reader running and I'm looking for good content feeds. Does the CFB community have any recommendations? I'm interested in many sports so it doesn't have to be CFB specific necessarily!

The only story I'm following at the moment. Boy do I hope he recovers swiftly and smoothly.

We had conference games, upsets and teams too scared to even take the field this week. Hopefully we can make sense of it all

2023 Week 5 Game Results (fanaticus.social)

This week had some upsets but no one in the Top 10 fell. Notably, ^11^ Utah, ^15^ Duke, ^18^ LSU, and ^20^ Kansas lost their match-ups. Of those, only ^11^ Utah and ^18^ LSU were favored to win. Florida was the only team ranked in the AP Poll but unranked on /c/CFB who lost their game, although they were not favored to win anyways.

As for our Top 10 teams, ^1^ Texas, ^2^ Michigan, ^6^ Penn State, ^8^ Oregon, and ^10^ Oklahoma all dominated their opponents. ^5^ Washington and ^9^ USC won by one touchdown each, but these games were not as close as the final scores indicate and neither team had less than a 94% chance to win in the entire fourth quarter (according to ESPN). ^7^ Georgia was tied with less than three minutes to go in the fourth quarter before scoring the game-winning touchdown against Auburn. ^3^ Florida State and ^4^ Ohio State did not play this week.
