So what are we thinking that Discovery chooses now, of all times, in the middle of the run of Faceoffs on BB's own youtube channel, to start uploading their own highlights of past episodes?

A good sign? They've noticed how well Faceoffs is doing and want to let all those potential new viewers know that Discovery is where robot combat takes place on TV?

Or more cynically, they have no intention of doing anything with BB ever again and are trying to muddy the waters for casual fans searching for the "New" Battlebots video?

Thoughts?

The new competition is hitting YouTube Nov 1, it's finally time for some heavyweight bot combat!

BattleBots Fall FaceOff will run September through December and serve as the pre-qualifying for Championship VIII. Streaming on YouTube only.

A tough to find fight from the 2022 Battlebots Champions Series

How does this community feels about seeing content posted from other robot combat leagues? Is there any interest in clips from NHRL, GSCRL, MRCA (ant/beetle weight leagues) or King of Bots and international heavyweight leagues?

I've seen some pretty entertaining beetleweight matches but I've been hesitant to post here as it's not technically battlebots.

There's not much direction in the sidebar regarding this, and if the community's expectation is to keep this place focused on strictly BB I will of course respect that. I expect BB will dominate this comm when the next season airs, but until then, maybe these leagues can fill as off-season content?
