Allows you to manually unload all except one tab at will, or just unload them individually at will. Godsend if you have a low amount of RAM, still useful if you have a good amount of RAM in situations where you want to do resource intensive stuff without closing your tabs fully

Edit: Clarified that this extension lets you manually unload the tabs

NoScript add-on is great for disabling any scripts running on a page. The user can view the domains the scripts are running from and enable them individually.

At first it breaks every web page you visit but after a little time white-listing everything runs fine and it makes for much cleaner browsing.
