The idea that any one employee can negotiate on equal terms with their boss is ridiculous. Anyone that has ever tried to ask for a pay rise or benefits knows this.

Yes please. All workers deserve someone to represent them, especially in this age of vast income disparity.
One would think that this is a foregone conclusion, but so many folks have been indoctrinated into the "unions = communism" group-think that they actively vote against their own best interests.
