What are your last minute hopes for wrestling in 2023? (beehaw.org)

We're getting closer to the end of 2023. All in all, I think it's been a good year in wrestling. Is there anything you'd like to see happen before we ring in 2024? A new champ crowned? The end of a storyline? A major breakout win for one of your favorite wrestlers?

I'm mostly a "I just hope we all have fun" type of fan, so I don't have too many major things I'm hoping for. A silly holiday themed street fight featuring Jeff Jarrett does sound pretty fun though.

AEW wise, I hope we find out who's behind the devil mask. I'm hoping we find out tomorrow (Full Gear) but there's speculation that the story may get extended to World's End. I'm also hoping Jay wins tomorrow, even though I'm not 100% sure that's where this is headed. I could see MJF retaining considering how many enemies he has right now.

Impact wise, it's hard to say because I think things are in a holding pattern until they transition back to TNA. But I'd love to see Speedball and Black Taurus get some signature wins. I'm a huge fan of both of those guys.

I really want to know who’s under that devil mask too. I’m trying to keep my expectations lowered so I can be happy no matter who it is. Kind of like some people hyped themselves up so much when Christian debuted that they felt let down and I was able to be like, “oh yay, it’s Christian!”

I agree that Impact will probably be in a holding pattern for this last bit of the year. I’m sure we’ll still get some cool matches and I’d be happy if Bailey and Black Taurus are two who get to wow us.

AEW: Devil mask reveal, and Danhausen finally returns and is given tv time to do something very evil.

Impact: Like Tellum said, holding pattern so not hoping for much but for them to continue prepping well for 2024.

Stardom: For all the injured women to heal up quickly and hopefully get a lesser schedule going forward. And for Utami to run through everyone and get the damn red belt again already.

I’ve never properly seen evil Danhausen, so I’m ready for that too.

And while I basically keep up with Stardom through helpful fans, so my opinion means nothing, Utami always looks right with a belt.
