I watch plenty of YouTubers who have bad takes, especially regarding AES. I stopped watching WTYP when I realized I hadn't laughed once in multiple episodes.
I gave this pod a shot back in like 2020. Had to stop, it's just so boring and when they finally get to the topic it's still boring.

The energy he gives off about his time in Russia is strongly sexpat vibes. Like showing up in the shitty post-Communism era to run rampant over the country, "partying" it up and shit.

I used to have a list of about 20-25 i listened to regularly. Damn near every one of them political.
Im down to three now and the three i listen to are hosted by people i would consider politically left, but they make no mention of politics. Just jokes. Im so fucking burnt out on podcasts as a whole. I cut all my patreon subs, I even quit listening to our favoritest large adult son, Cushbomb. Im just over podcasts. Period.
I think Chapo is alright, but most of the time, like you, I'm listening to comedy podcasts hosted by nominal socialists (specifically Episode 1 and Podcast About List). What are yours?

They're fine, a bit lib but they're fucking podcasters so what do you expect. Even fucking Hakim has lib takes on occasion. Aside from the fucking Adam Something episode I've not heard anything I've not heard from a paid up card carrying org member when they're on a roll of bad takes.
I think we do sometimes have to remember that when you're extremely online in a public way, every bad take is gonna be used against you, forever. Even the ones you forget. I shudder to think of what it would be like if every bad take I've ever had on Hexbear was dredged up every time I posted.

liam is an awful lib. it's fine hearing alice's left-com bullshit, but I get my fill of shouty-notfunny-anticommunist-libshit from just living life ambiently in the world
