holding flashlight under face

Imagine a terrifying world where we are all ruled by monsters of every stripe. And not hot ones like werewolves, but instead decaying zombies and mummies who are both insensitive to, and actively benefit from the immense suffering they cause on a daily basis. The top echelon of society, filled with profit-seeking, bloodsucking vampires. And the worst of it is that they repeat on a daily basis that what they are doing is not only just, but there is no other possible way to do it.

Pretty spooky, right? What if I told you that this world... was our own?

Happy Halloween!

If you have evidence of Israeli crimes and atrocities that you wish to preserve, there is a thread here in which to do so.

Sources on the fighting in Palestine against Israel. In general, CW for footage of battles, explosions, dead people, and so on:

Resources For Understanding The War

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.

Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Telegram Channels

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Pro-Russian

https://t.me/aleksandr_skif ~ DPR's former Defense Minister and Colonel in the DPR's forces. Russian language.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.

https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.

https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.

https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.

https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.

https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.

https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.

Pro-Ukraine

Almost every Western media outlet.

https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.

https://t.me/ice_inii ~ Alleged Ukrainian account with a rather cynical take on the entire thing.

NY cops are going to be happy. They're going to get a lot of ez overtime.

In New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced on Tuesday up to $75 million in grants for local police departments and houses of worship in response to an uptick in reported antisemitic attacks and hate crimes against Palestinians in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war.

Dozens feared dead in attacks on Gaza road, al-Shifa Hospital gate: Ministry

Al-Qudra, the Palestinian Health Ministry spokesman, says dozens of people are feared dead in today’s attacks on al-Shifa Hospital and a coastal road in Gaza.

Hundreds are believed to be injured, he added.

“If no safe passage is provided for the delivery of fuel and medical supplies and the departure of victims, we will continue to lose more lives. We are helpless here,” al-Qudra said.

I didn't know France sent a first helicopter.

France to send second helicopter carrier to Gaza coastline as part of aid effort

France’s defence minister said the move comes as part of its worth with the Israeli and Egyptian authorities to find a way to provide medical assistance to the people of Gaza.

France deployed a helicopter carrier to the area last week.

Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu also told the France Info radio station that messages had been sent to Hezbollah and Israel, urging them not to do anything that would make it impossible for the UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon to carry out its mandate.

Awesome!

Edit

I found a Youtube upload - Anti-Israel protesters disrupt Blinken's testimony - YouTube

---

Blinken is testifying before congress and people are protesting inside the chamber. It's hard to see but they have symbolic blood-stained hands.

Somebody holds up a sign, yells, and gets escorted out. And then somebody else does the same thing.

Ninja edit: Right now they are all yelling!

The pirate stream I'm using - https://www.livenewsmag.com/msnbc-news-live-stream/

Edit

~~I was very lucky to catch the protest. Apparently when I checked the news - I started watching just a minute or two into it and it's already over. They've all be taken away. Right now it's back to normal evil. Blinken is droning on and on like an automaton from his speech.~~

I was wrong! It's still on! Haha. Fucking fantastic.

CNN seems to be ignoring the protest - they are streaming from northern Israel - https://www.livenewsmag.com/cnn/

Are you eating terrorist ice cream? In extremely important Ukraine war reporting, Ukraine has named the multinational company Nestle as supporting Russia for continuing to sell their products in Russia. Finland frets over popular Finnish ice cream brands being owned ultimately by Nestle.

(Venäjä = Russia, emoyhtiö = parent company)

Ukraine news story about Nestle

spoilerThe Swiss corporation Nestle is one of the largest food producers in the world, doing business in 187 countries. Despite the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine, Nestle continues to operate in the aggressor state, supplying goods to its population and expanding its production base in the country. On this basis, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) is including the company in the list of international sponsors of the war.

Nestle produces instant coffee, mineral water, chocolate, ice cream, dairy products, baby and pet food, and a range of other products. The company’s product portfolio includes more than 2,000 brands worldwide, including KitKat, Nescafé, Nesquik, Nestea, and others.

As of early 2022, the Swiss corporation was operating seven factories in Russia.

Despite the fact that the share of Nestle’s revenue made in Russia is only slightly over 2% of its global revenue, the company has not yet decided to leave the market of the terrorist state. Nestle explains this decision by citing the need to provide the Russian population with “essential products” and to take care of its 7,000 employees.

Nestle is represented in the Russian Federation through Nestle Russia LLC. The company paid more than USD 25 million in profit taxes as of 2021. Nestle has not published data on its income and taxes paid for 2022, most likely fearing international pressure.

In April 2023, the management of Nestlé Russia LLC asked the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation to take the necessary measures to restrict public access to the results of operations and financial statements of the company’s subsidiaries. The purpose of this step was likely to avoid imposing sanctions on Nestle’s subsidiaries.

The analysis of the Russian customs data reveals that in 2022 Nestle imported USD 374 million worth of semi-finished products and raw materials into Russia, while during the first nine months of 2023 this figure stood at USD 271 million.

After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the company announced the suspension of exports and imports to Russia, except for “essential and basic goods for the local people.” Nevertheless, as reported by Swiss media, the shelves of Russian stores are still full of their products. Among the products available are Bystrow breakfast cereals, Maggi soups and broth cubes, Purina pet food, chocolate bars, and Nespresso coffee.

Additionally, in October 2022, the company imported technical equipment into Russia under the guise of milk powder, as evidenced by the court proceedings of Moscow Arbitration Court No. A40-24044/2023. In other words, the company does not only import raw materials to produce its “essential goods,” but also tries to covertly send technological equipment to Russia in order to further develop its business.

These facts provide ample evidence that the Swiss corporation has not learnt its lesson from recent history. During World War II, the company worked with both the aggressor and the victim, supplying food stuffs to the German Army and, at the same time, exporting them to the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition.

By continuing to work in the Russian market, Nestle is once again demonstrating to the world its willingness to collaborate with the aggressor state. Nestle’s Russia business also demonstrates to Russia itself that it continues to be integrated into the global market, despite numerous war crimes committed in Ukraine.

US expects Israeli air attacks to decrease soon: CNN

A senior US official has told CNN that the US expects Israel to change its tactics in its conflict against Hamas in the coming days, and shift from its current intense air bombardment of Gaza, which has killed thousands of civilians, and instead adopt “more of a tactical focus on the ground campaign” aimed at clearing out Hamas’s underground tunnel network.

The official, however, distanced the US from support for a ceasefire, and instead said that the US was emphasising “humanitarian pauses”.

Honduras Recalls Its Ambassador to Israel for Consultations

"Depending on how the situation in Gaza evolves, the positions considered appropriate will be taken," said Foreign Minister, Enrique Reina.

The Government of Honduras recalled on Friday its ambassador to Israel for consultations due to the serious humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

"Given the serious humanitarian situation suffered by the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip, the government of President @XiomaraCastroZ has decided to immediately recall Mr. Roberto Martinez, ambassador of the Republic of Honduras in Israel, to Tegucigalpa for consultations," the Honduran Foreign Minister, Enrique Reina posted on his X account.

The country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the "genocide and the serious situation of violence faced by the civilian population in Palestine, innocent victims of Israel's revenge against Hamas."

The foreign minister said Honduras urges a ceasefire to be decreed in the Gaza Strip and the possibility of a humanitarian corridor be allowed and that peace negotiations be initiated.

"Depending on how the situation in Gaza evolves, the positions considered appropriate will be taken," said Reina.

Other countries in the region, including Chile and Colombia, have also recently announced the measure of recalling their ambassadors for consultations, while Bolivia broke off diplomatic relations with Tel Aviv.

According to the latest figures released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 9,000 people have been killed and 25,000 injured in Gaza since the current conflict between Israel and the Hamas organization began on October 7.

There’s also a picture of Eric Adams giving a presentation about the rat population in NYC with the text “OUR DAY IS COMING.”

Finally there’s a picture of a weird green ooze spilling onto a Manhattan street from the underground, a picture that’s been circulating around the Internet today. Edited in there is a rat and Mr. Resetti from the video game Animal Crossing.

This process of drawing political legitimization from a sacred text can lead to fanaticism with dangerous consequences. The Bible, for instance, has references to genocide: the Amalekites were killed to the last by Joshua. Today there are those, thankfully for now only a fanatical minority, who refer not only to the Palestinians as Amalekites but also to those who are not Jewish enough in their eyes.

"thankfully for now only a fanatical minority" - christ, Ilan Pappe wrote this in 2017 and we've already seen Netanyahu call the Palestinians 'Amalek'

I'd call this the full attack order.

https://streamable.com/o1ugzx

"Southern command units, this is the commander.

We are going on the offensive against Hamas and the terrorist organizations in the Gaza strip.

Our only goal: victory

No matter how long the fight takes and no matter how hard it will be, there is no other result than victory.

We will fight professionally, powerfully and according to the principles of the defense forces that we were brought up on and in their forefront; being determined to achieve the mission, and constant striving for victory.

We will fight in the alleys, the tunnels and wherever we need to. And we will strike this brutal enemy that we are facing.

My brothers in arms; the residents of Be'eri, Sderot, Nir Oz, Kfar Aza, the towns of the west of Negev, and with them all the people of Israel, are watching us now.

Like me, they trust you and believe in you. You are the victory generation.

This is the commander, move to achieve your missions, strike the enemy. The end."

Reaction to Nasrallah speech split in Lebanon

There were people who were anticipating Nasrallah’s speech with high expectations that Nasrallah was going to go for all out war. These people are upset. They think Nasrallah’ speech was mainly about the rhetoric and there was no real substance in it. This is one team.

There’s another team which is Nasrallah’s supporter base. They are going to accept Nasrallah, whatever he says.

And there’s a third team, which is the team that is concerned about the war. It doesn’t want to see Lebanon getting into this war. Some of them are kind of relieved. They think that Nasrallah’s speech today distanced Lebanon, in a way, from the war, despite the fact he didn’t rule out that Lebanon actually is already in the middle of this war.
