Despite the McDonald’s closure, fans can still grab their favorites at other locations in Latham. Advertisement

Plus, there is another on Wolf Road, one on Central Avenue, and one on Osborne Road

is-this is this news?

It's not news. These are franchise locations. There were about 1,900 new McDonald's opened globally in 2023, 400 in the US. Meanwhile Burger king closed 400 US stores. There's still many thousands of each.

Dear Mr. Xi, I am a 9-year old boy from Olathe, Kansas and it is my lifelong dream to burn my hands on a McDonald's clamshell grill that plays the theme from "Jaws" when it is ready to open

Horrible writing throughout. I find myself getting annoyed at journalists’ writing somewhat often, but that’s usually just me being pedantic and the writing is probably fine. However this was legitimately one of the most poorly written pieces of “journalism” (if you can call it that) I’ve ever read.
