i don’t understand how this is sustainable. seems like it’s going to cause a serious crash of some sort. a giant portion of population is going to be completely broke soon.

Welcome to the sole thought that fuels and dominates my chronic depression.

Basically, one of two things will happen.

  1. People will eventually get pushed to the brink and cause many civil wars around the globe on the basis of quality of life, food, expenses and mismanagement

Or...

  1. People will continue putting up with less and less until we're in an Orwellian nightmare realm and no one can do anything to change it.

Either way, I've got my pistol ready. The only part that makes me feel like a clown is that I just continue going to work day to day, making money for the family I'll never have in the home I'll never buy. One day I'll run out of reasons.
