A world famous North Wales landmark has come out on top in a study of the most captivating UNESCO landmarks. The eye-tracking study of over 50 sites reveals the cultural gems and natural wonders that visually captivate travellers the most.

The new research by Explore Worldwide uses a unique technology to analyse the visually captivating qualities of UNESCO sites. Participants were asked to look at a series of images of 52 of the global landmarks, and the eye-tracking software was then used to reveal which images drew the human eye the quickest, and held their gaze the longest.

World famous?

I'm an extensive traveller. My folks are Welsh. I've been there 5x. I've been to NORTH WALES. And I've never heard of this aquaduct.
