No one would notice Superman if he couldn't fly, didn't have super strength, super speed, and couldn't shoot lasers from his eyes sometimes.

If he was just hopefull and kind he'd not be welll known.

So nah... His true powers are definitely the things most people don't have: The Super strength, being able to fly... That sort of thing.

Worth noting the headline isn't exactly what Nathan said. He was talking about the core idea behind Superman, which is indeed hope and kindness. I do think it works as his "true" power as well though, as most people given god-like abilities wouldn't act the same way.
