Same. Don't forget MF Ghost (by the mangaka of Initial D) as well if you're into street racing. It's basically racing season in fall if you're into that and anime.

Omg this is amazing! I've always wanted an F1 anime
Can't remember its name, but I recall watching one during the late 80s (possibly 87 or 88). It wasn't F1 per sรฉ but the last few episodes were about the MC racing in Suzuka with a McLaren.
So your comment got me curious and I did some digging. Was it either of these two animes?
