I’m currently in school and working but been going to the gym to lift. I notice that I have been actually gaining muscle and strength from being consistent these past 2 weeks. I’m a former college athlete so it’s not like I don’t know what I’m doing there.
However, even after eating a meal I notice that I’m still hungry. It’s frustrating because I feel that it’s “killing my gains”
I try to drink water but even then I still get hungry. I’m older (early 30s) now so my metabolism has of course slowed down. I notice it too, like looking at the mirror I feel that my face is not as thin as it should be. Before I was able to eat as much as I wanted to and burn it off quickly but I’m not competing at a high level now.
Is this a matter of not eating enough protein or just not controlling myself? Are there any methods to curb hunger or is this just having a strong will?
Thank you
