In my area the cheapest house is going for 1.1 million dollars. It isn't a large house, it's a pretty small house comparatively and I live in one of the cheapest real estate markets for a major city in the US

That same house used to be worth less then half what it is now. I don't understand who is even buying these houses.

I know people think companies like Blackrock are making the housing market go up in price, which they are but there is no way Blackrock is buying ALL these expensive ass houses.

I make pretty good money, a lot more than the majority of people and owning a house is pretty much not happening for me. So who is even buying these houses? It doesn't make any sense.
