So I don’t do drugs. Like, at all. Alongside of that, I don’t really like to take meds aside from the occasional Aleve/ibuprofen. Well, I was involved in a bicycle accident over the weekend, and I’m sore. Very sore. Road rash, aching joints, limping. I’ll be fine. But in my agony this morning, I was going through the medicine cabinet & came across my wife’s hydrocodone. “UH, that’ll do!” I took one, limped down the stairs & got my work day started. About 45 minutes later, my wife came down & asked how I was feeling. I told her “So bad I took one of your hydros.” She says, “You have a drug test coming up, go throw up.” (I’m currently being onboarded for a new job). After a brief disagreement, I went back upstairs and “pulled the trigger.” Wasted all my delicious coffee. Well, no pill came up & I was stoned outta my gourd for the first half of the day. This is the first pill I’ve taken in 2 years… am I gonna bomb this urinalysis?

I took ONE hydrocodone-acetaminohen 7.5-325

I’m 5’6 225lbs

Quite likely, yes.

One option is to get a prescription from your doctor for the pill you took. You can't be fired for taking a pill that is prescribed to you.
