Don't know whether I should keep stressing as much as I have over college because I have a good GPA and would like to stick the landing. Just feels like a waste of my time to bend over backwards when it feels like some of my profs are making it up as they go along. Not all of them, but I have a class rn where the instructions for the class project worth 70% of our grade are a WIP and I swear the prof changes his mind on something important every single time he talks with us. agony-consuming

I hate how every business wants to force us to download their app (especially when browsing any site on your phone), even though they're all secretly just websites wrapped up into an app anyways. All the inconveniences of downloading combined with all the inefficiencies of bloated websites, just the worst of both worlds for anyone who isn't a data harvesting company.

The browser is a political statement that the way the page is rendered should be under the control of the user. The app is a capitalist reaction to that statement.

Round profile pictures are bad.

Lighthearted, but I hate that Lego sets are all really bad. Except for Ninjago's dragons. Which are all kind of reskinned anyway, they're pretty bad.

I miss Castle, Kingdoms, even Nexo Knights. I bought the 100 USD Lego Castle 3-in-1 two years ago but I really resent that Lego seems to be allergic to that old genre.

Harry Potter legos are really bad. Just an awful wizard-isekai-school aesthetic.

Also, Emet-Selch is only the interesting villain because the other villains in FF14 are really tame and one dimensional and Emet-Selch benefits from a halo effect because of it.

Computer touchers, particularly of the "everything is a computer, the universe is a computer, your brain is a computer" variety are fucking annoying and are like the old saying about someone with a hammer seeing everything as a nail.

Even bringing it up here runs the risk of a computer toucher showing up to be mad about me saying that. berdly-actually

Can we talk about shite urban design and city planning in the US is and how much it fails to consider any kind of long term human habitation in any sort of logical reality? The heat islands, the fixation on single family homes, the distribution of local taxes to schools in said areas, the constant destruction of wet lands and green space, the lack of planning in social resources (putting food banks and shelters on opposite sides of the city so these people who are frequently disabled are forced to traverse basically an asphalt desert in order to meet basic needs), the focus on cars over less destructive forms of transit, the choice to develop areas that are NOT suitable for human habitation (wetlands, burn zones, eroding lands). Good god theres so much wrong I could just keep going.
