Used Apollo for Reddit, not possible anymore and the official app truly suck.
Not only that, the CEO is trash. So trying out Lemmy and thus far, loving it. Hoping it will keep growing and better than Reddit.
Do you use wefwef.app? It's like Apollo but for lemmy
I have tried it, I like it because itβs basically an Apollo clone. However, been using Memmy app through TestFlight.
Currently prefer Memmy over others because, I like the design, overall decent and so far smooth/ no delay or lags. And frequent quick updates.
I myself cat use memmy becouse I don't own a iPhone :(
Thatβs unfortunate but Iβm certain there are Android apps in development for Lemmy and Kbin. You could try them out (if they allowed it).
Otherwise stay strong and await the (good) upcoming apps!
It exists apps for lemmy but they are laggy and/or have missing features or simply doesnt work with the lemmy instance im using
I was already looking for reddit alternatives but I wasn't successful, but in one comment on a post a guy was posting about spending his time on reddit converting people to Lemmy and I was like "What's this Lemmy thing?" and that is my story
Started on reddit almost 10 years ago. At the time you could find ANYTHING. Literally the face of the internet. Meaning there was both the good and the bad. Though, overtime reddit became more and more strict. Banning countless subreddits, shadowbanning for the simplest of things, altering what you see on the front page, and now price gouging those that made them who they are today.
After seeing how spez and the team handled the fallout with charging developers, it made me realize what reddit is becoming and decided to officially give up on it.
The thing that gets the cats killed.
