Yeah the last 48h kbin's been fucky. Just got 2 notifications like 20 mins ago nearly at 5:30am for a couple of those spammers I posted about this time yesterday morning, on a thread I already deleted, from accounts I already banned lmao. idk if Ernest is dead or dying but hopefully he comes back to kbin soon from whatever issues hes having cause this shit needs work lol.

Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if this was the wrong server to host this community on. Obviously not my decision, of course, but Kbin.social has had a lot of issues these past few months, and Ernest doesn't seem to be able to keep up and is unwilling to get help from the community.

I did (ironically this morning lmao) make a Lemmy SQ as a backup community for us should anything happen, but it would be nice if things here would actually progress software-wise.

The delays--and in some cases, complete losses (upvotes and boosts not underlining or going green anymore)--are crazy. I've been on message boards of all kinds since, like, 2000 and I don't think I've ever seen growing pains like the ones going on here.

Also, want to know why I don't comment or post as much as I used to? Because when I first came to Kbin I could post/comment on my work macbook. A few months ago I stopped being able to. Now all I can do is boost and upvote. So the only way I can post or comment is on my phone now...

I've had no issues commenting/posting, but boosting and upvoting gives me an error message about 70% of the time.

Could leave up a post and give it something like 2-4 weeks for input, assuming it'll federate during that time to 99% of people to be sure but one way or another we'll be at the mercy of kbin and its issues. I can see as I'm typing this that it's at least 2ish hours behind in terms of just the normal federation (comparing to whats visible via my lemmy.zip account).

Let's set up the poll, pin it in place of the "Please boost and upvote" thread, and give it until March 17th/18th. That way it's up during Revolution and 2 of each AEW weekly show after to get as much visibility as possible. We should also put a link to the poll in each "-Show- discussion" thread.

Man the wind was fucking nuts wasn't it? All damn day yesterday. Fucking temp here in ptbo went from +15 to -20 in a few hours lmao.

Fuck yeah. And that's wild we live in the same region. The wind gusts hit something like 84km/hr at one point, maybe even more. And then of course Saturday is supposed to be +15 again lol. The weather this winter has been insane.
