Maybe if my parents were able to afford a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a decent sized yard when I was a kid for less than 100,000, and I recently purchased a 512 square foot house for almost twice that amount... something is wrong.
Modern economist thought: " We can't give people more money, because then things get expensive and then people can't afford them. If people don't get more money, things stay cheap and they can afford them"
Meets the question: "okay and what happens if unforeseen circumstances make things more expensive and capital then keeps the prices high on inelastic products?"
