If you use up toothpaste in 6 weeks you are using waaaaay too much: You need no more than a pea sized dot twice a day.

Whut. When are you brushing?
On waking up, after lunch and after dinner. I, specifically, also brush with toothpaste after breakfest and afternoon tea. That's a personal choice and not a recommendation.
That seems like a lot. I thought the thing was just morning and before going to bed, with xylitol gum for after eating
That's pretty standard in Brazil, but then again, we're known for being excessively clean.
