Can't own a dog because home ownership has become a retirement goal in today's economy?

Get the experience by owning a dog (with several other people) and see it once a year.

Worth noting some animal shelters allow volunteers to walk dogs if you are into a less late stage capitalism version of this.

I have a bad news for you, this already exists. Someone who already owns a dog but can't walk it for some reason or other puts it up on a website, someone who loves dogs but can't afford owning one, can apply for a time with the dog.

My friend uses that, her dog is one of those sleek photogenic ones so it frequently poses on walkers' Instagrams. Everybody happy, the owner, the walkers, the dog.

Everyone using the site gets vetted somehow. I'm not sure about the process as I've not used it myself but there are some failsafes included
