Am I dyslexic or is the joke unclear?
The picture is from old footage of a nuclear bomb test. The long shadow is cast by the flash of the explosion and this is right before the shockwave hits and levels the house.
Is this mandatory information? It seems like many comments here know what's up.
This footage gets regularly played in documentaries and Youtube videos when nuclear weapons are discussed, so many people are familiar with it.
I wouldn't say mandatory, but because of the cold war it's something gen x and y knows about, and have had much contact with.
