Öffentliche IPv4-Adressen sind Mangelware. Mit den zusätzlichen Gebühren will Amazon ganz offen seine Kunden zum Umstieg auf IPv6 bewegen.

Das wird schon seit 15 Jahren gesagt. Ist halt wieder Geldmacherei.

Nein, das ist ein sehr reales Problem und wird vor allem von den ISPs die noch kein IPv6 anbieten begünstigt.

Es gibt ISPs die noch kein IPv6 anbieten? Haben die auch noch 56k Modems im Angebot?

Hatte in Spanien vor 5 Jahren für 60 Euro in Monat 400MBit symmetrisch. IPv4 only. Heute immerhin bei fast 9% der Anschlüsse verfügbar, damals waren das glaube ich noch 2%. Ich habe nicht schlecht gestaunt.
