~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags.
Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

I've seen the drama unfold and had an interaction with the mod of Risa in a post bringing random deletions of things to the attention of everyone, and the dude seemed like an unreasonable douche. I'm glad TenForward now exists, and is moderated by the very people that made Risa fun. Cuz the creator of Risa sure didn't make it fun.
I will ask to keep things a lil more civil. We're not trying to cause drama here. What happened in the other place happened but we've got this whole new space to explore and after all, that's what Starfleet is about right? And I mean that for everyone in general. There's no point in focusing on what's happened. Just gotta start putting our first forward into this bold frontier.
However I will say this, the current moderator of the other place is not the creator. The creator is actually a really cool guy who's active in this community and I've had the pleasure of having conversations with. He's a genuinely really kind and wonderful person who shares the exact same ideals that Ten Forward does.
Well shit... Why'd he leave? Or give the current mod mod status?
I didn't agree with the rest of the instance's mods approach to moderation, for reasons that are now very public and obvious.
