If it ends up a staple like the super key... I wonder what we could repurpose it for?

Exactly! If it's on every keyboard one day... I mean, Windows is still pervasive, for better or worse... that would likely mean most will converge on a similar thing eventually just like the super key did for non-Windows OSes.

Super key is older than Windows key. It was present on Sun keyboards, on Space Cadet keyboards and Lord knows where else.
