Further context: I run current gen and newly released games on the deck just fine, most times I run them straight through Wine/Lutris - even if it's not stated as supported for the deck yet. EAC also runs perfectly fine (ex. Elden Ring), Sweeney just wants Steam money before sharing his cash cow
Does that mean Fortnite is playable? I don’t play it myself, but it’s a pretty huge game for lots of folks.
Not playable. The game specs itself and the anticheat EAC itself work fine on the deck, but the devs need to enable proton and linux compatibility for the EAC on their side - something Epic is unwilling to (more nuanced context here)
