SpaceX team aboard the recovery vessel Doug in the Atlantic securing a payload fairing half, which has supported 13 missions to-date, after last night's Starlink launch from Florida

It's nice to get an update on fairing reuse, since they no longer regularly mention it during webcasts.

If a fairing floats ashore am I safe breaking it down and selling it on the street?

No. It is part of the space treaty that most nations have signed up to, that any part of a space craft remains the property of whoever launched it, and clean-up of it is the responsibility of the country from which it is launched.

Yes but what is the street value?

For a bunch of scrap carbon fiber? Nothing. For the propulsion / GNC tech to China or if you cut out the logo and other parts and sell them to nerds? More than nothing.
