How the fuck is apartheid milder than racism? One is hate, the other is actively trying to subjugate the race. They may be linked, but you're delusional if you think apartheid is the "milder word".
And we've given all the information in this thread, but you either can't or refuse to understand it. I dunno how you have lived this long on earth and don't know that first nations people have generally got the shit end of the stick throughout history. Cos who gives a shit if the original people who were wronged are dead, this sort of trauma is encoded in their genes and carried by the following generations. It shits me immensely that you have the same voting power as me, yet you are so incredibly ignorant it's almost to the point of stupidity.
So than why repeat same mistakes now and wrong other people? Racism is wrong, regardless of intention. As long we do not stop separating people by their ancestry shit will not stop.
BECAUSE THE VOICE WASNT FUCKING RACIST. This panel was proposed to give our first nations people equal footing in decisions that are made that affect them. The very fucking opposite of racism. We weren't seperating them, we were including them.
Why is it that you've so easily swallowed right wing lies but won't see the truth when it is put in front of you? It makes me sick to think you're the best your country could send here. We have enough racists, we don't need more.
No other race in Australia have a panel. Differential treatment based on race = racism. Sorry, there is no way out of it. Does not matter of intention, it is what is it.
It is about giving special voice to first nation which is race. It is clear as day.
Let's flip this a bit. How would you feel if women made decisions about how men should live their life, but not consult them to see if this would help them or make life difficult for them? That's all the voice was going to do. It wasn't going to make it's own laws or anything like that. It would always be the politicians elected by the general public that was going to do that. It was about making things level for first nations people's. You keep saying you want everyone in Australia to be treated the same, THAT WAS THE POINT OF THE VOICE YOU DICKHEAD.
It may be a point but it uses unacceptable methods. If voice was about , "let's give any deprived people more voice" ( and define how it is actually will work) i would vote yes.

How about this, what if we decided that people who immigrate to Australia don't get the right to have equal representation in govt when it comes to matters of immigration? Would you have come here? No, because the system wouldn't be fair for you. That's what happens with our first nations people's. They don't get a fair say in things that effect them. And that's wrong.

Differences is. First nation people has exactly same right as anyone else. They already have representation via normal election.
No. They don't have normal representation via normal election. This has been proven numerous times. Since the Morrison govt. It's the whole reason the voice was proposed. From top of my head they are 3.8% of population. So they should be heard for that 3.8%. And about Ignored, I'm not claiming it is wrong, but could you please provide some references.
