What the fuck exactly makes Isn't Real a "friend" and "ally"? They say this shit all the time, but if Israel was shut off tomorrow, my life wouldn't notice a single difference. What the hell is Israel's function that they never say out loud? Hummus? Over priced Soda Streams? Meds that can be made here just as well?
I have to wonder if the evangelist angle has extremely powerful lobbying ability in the US. That and the 'it's an extension of the US in the middle east' aspect probably drive policy.
