I know this will likely be an unpopular opinion so please forgive me, but I've never liked Piper. Something about her in-your-face-ness bugs me every playthrough.
Honestly, I'm probably just jealous.
Yeah like her being a "nosey reporter" type character isn't that bad of an idea, but for God's sake don't make her act like that for every line
Yeah agreed. I think if she had a more down-to-earth character development moment I would come around to her, but she really doesn't cool down much. Although, I don't think I've done everything I can with her yet, so perhaps she does?
Also like what's the point of her? Even if you bee line it straight to Diamond City you've already got easy access to two companions plus dogmeat, and if you do a little hit of exploring, cause you know it's open world, you'll find Danse and boom you've got a companion in power armor with a laser rifle. Thats a hell of a lot better than a snarky reporter with a pipe revolver
