Not to defend Israel at all but those are basically child soldiers. When we say death to the IDF we are also trying to save Israeli children from being forced to become Nazi footsoldiers.

They do literally get groomed into it right out of high school, I think they have a point. Obviously doesn't take away from the fact that Palestinians 100% still have the moral right to make every IDF soldier join an impromptu space program.

So do thousands of American high schoolers every year. They rightfully don't get our kid gloves "smol bean child soldier, uWu, just following orders!!" treatment. The IDF shouldn't, either.

difference would be if there was 3 years mandatory service or whatever for every person, which I think they do there?

Either way fuck em, I wouldn't expect people to cry over my corpse if I became a party of the US war machine willingly or no, if I'm on the team I've gotta go. But I do see the point about there literally not being a choice if they just happen to be born there and can't move away on their own

literally not being a choice

There is always a choice.

Yes yes death to idf I'm not saying otherwise. Just pointing out that it's something that gets forced onto them, whether they can avoid it through pain or not

Say your the only person to support ailing family members and if you went to prison they'd suffer for your absence

AGAIN NOT DEFENDING THE GENOCIDERS DEATH TO ALL OF THEM

just pointing out a fact of the reality we live under amongst fellow communists

I would simply not be Israeli

I mean I'd be fine being killed if I was conscripted into the iof, I'm not suggesting otherwise, but you get born where you get born and not everyone is in a situation to pick up and leave their life etc

Again, Death to all iof even those conscripted

This quote from The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus is interesting to think about in this context.

"All systems of mortality are based on the idea that an action has consequences that legitimize or cancel it. A mind imbued with the absurd merely judges that those consequences must be considered calmly. It is ready to pay up. In other words, there may be responsible persons, but there are no guilty ones, in its opinion. At very most, such a mind will consent to use past experience as a basis for its future actions."
