The intro at MIT was great, although it's unclear why she would need money when it's clear MIT has infinite Tony Stark money. Also she must have plenty of money after creating a Vibranium detector for the CIA (aka the plot of Wakanda Forever), but... Fine, she needs money I get that.

The Hood's introduction was fun. The "hood" itself looks a little silly, but it had a scary moment later on so it works out.

The family/friend death drama feels very forced. It's clearly going to be the focus of the series so I'm guessing it will be expanded on and make more sense, but just within this episode it's just like "Remember that thing we didn't tell you about? It's a major part of my character."

Also cool title intro.

Yeah I did not understand this either. She got a grant and should have been working on her project with that grant money. Why did she need other money?

My understanding was that she used up the grant money and/or overextended the term of her scholarship without graduating.

It was a little hazy, tho
