How much and how hard are the Dems gonna drag their feet and sabotage their own candidate/support lib independent runs?

Isn't the Mayor of NYC one of those elections where the winner of the Democratic Party basically wins the general? Zohran will probably be mayor, but the Democrats will definitely ratfuck him in office.

NYC is heavily democrat, but they used to love electing republican mayors, particularly if the suburbanites get scared about "crime" or terrorism. Remember that they had both Rudy Gulliani (back when his brain kind of worked) and Mike Bloomberg (back when he was a republican) within the past couple of decades.
