She has sucked for at least 5 years, arguably more - 'breadtube' (literally all of the channels that got popular off that suck, but contrapoints especially) and its consequences. she has been muted for quite a while for me but the other day when she added a bunch of flags to her display name "as a joke!!" she got the unfollow and I don't even really use twitter like that anymore but just got so annoyed lmao
Less than 48 hours later:
GIRL YOU ARE A TWITTER LIB AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. Your lasting mark on online culture in general is that annoying ass "
they don't want power they want to critique it" image and the overuse of bisexual lighting & meaningless costume changes in what are supposed to be video essays!!!
You make $50k/month on Patreon to post a 1-2 hour video a year!! The last 3 videos you've put out in the last 3 years have been: a 2 hour video that basically boils down to 'what are conspiracies and how do people fall for them' with some nice set design and costume changes & then your like 4th video about JK Rowling and a video about Twilight. You are Lindsay Ellis core - stop posting about politics like your opinion is worth something!!!
I might be a "campist", that could be because I live on the receiving end of the big gun that the US and the Western Powers are always pointing at us and just about anything that erodes US power gives me some breathing room. However, I am not a liberal, and she is, and there is NO coming back from that.
I'd rather be a "campist" than a fucking spineless liberal with fascistic fantasies.
Well yes, inviting Hillary & Chelsea Clinton into your home (that you bought with your 'breadtube' money) to film an episode of Hillary's TV series is basically the final stage of neoliberalism
