I think the following is a better idea:

Be better than them, help people negatively affected by them, vote, try to be less cynical and more rational, instead of continuing the cycle of hatred. It is better for your own mental health and the lives of others.

I am just as susceptible to anger as anyone else and by no means above it, just to make that clear.

I know people don't want to hear this, because humans are wired to be extremely responsive to hate (just look at twitter) and I don't mean to be preachy, but this would be a much greater net positive for humanity.

Edit: Looking at the replies makes me think we're fucked.

That hasn't historically worked out.

Seeing most people thinking assault is the better option, I am not surprised. Even if you'd punch a nazi, do you think he'd go "oh shit, I get it now, sorry"? Usually both sides just radicalize more.

Well the point is to make it less of a popular thing to be a Nazi, and to make them be scared of being Nazis, at least publicly. The less Nazis are accepted the less people will find themselves validated in their beliefs

Ok, let me ask you a question then and let you come to your own conclusion. I will not reply after that.

How do you think extremists react, when they feel threatened?
