Shouldn't they just release her once she touches French soil? She hasn't committed any crimes in France (she technically hasn't committed any crimes in Israel either, since she never willingly stepped in there in the first place, she was kidnapped in international waters) and she is a EU citizen so it's not like it's illegal for her to be in France.

Probably because they're still airside and not officially in France yet? ( I don't know, just guessing )
