No way the table would be structurally strong enough, unless the flat part is made of steel painted to look like wood, therefore fake and imaginary.
This was my thought. It could be done with reinforced materials and then have a wood veneer or facade placed over it... but if someone was going to actually do that - they'd definitely have finished the buildings before assembly.
