https://mapcomplete.org/ is an easy-to-use website to view, edit and add points (such as shops, restaurants and others)
https://learnosm.org/en/ has a lot of information for beginners too.

Idk, I feel like it should be something that rolls off the tongue. Something easy to search and not awkward to recommend irl. Sucks because Organic Maps was pretty good in both those cases
OpenStreetMap is the registered trademark of OSM Foundation, and they ask to please don't use mixed and confusing names like some of these for related projects. From the Trademark Policy:
While they usually allow the use for open projects, it would be just easier to respect the request of the Foundation.
