If I got it right, they don't want people that go there for a simple night out. They want people that will dance for like 24 hours straight.
I went several years ago, and it felt like almost everyone in front of me got in. But the line was extremely long and I was towards the front.
That makes it funnier if true, either the entitled fuck thought he could get in coming late or he got there early but was too much of a dweeb.
They probably have a list of people who are not allowed in under any circumstances. 3 years ago was after he started to show his true colours, so I wouldn't be surprised.
